# Why isn't my battery charging from the grid?

Ensure that charging schedules are correctly configured in the app. E.g. the correct charge times are set, a charge rate is entered (this will depend on your inverter size 3.6k = 3600w, 4.6k=4600, 5k= 5000w & 6k=6000w) and that the toggle in the right corner is on.

If you're using a smart tariff, check that the integration has been requested and completed. Please also note that the battery temperature can affect the battery’s charge rate. If temperatures are low your battery may charge slower to protect the long-term performance of the cells.
