# Can I install more than one Duracell inverter or battery?

Yes, our current inverter, the Dura-i G3, allows up to nine inverters to be installed in parallel. If you have a previous-generation Duracell Energy inverter, then this number is reduced to six.

For the maximum number of batteries a single Duracell Energy inverter can be paired with, please see below. With the Dura-i, the batteries must be the same size, firmware, and type.

Where multiple inverters are connected in one system (Parallel), please be advised that if the batteries are connected in independence (each battery array operates separately per inverter), the number of batteries per inverter should be equal.

For each of our current battery products, please see the maximum number you can install per inverter:

Dura5 – 32 batteries per inverter

Dura16 – 10 batteries per inverter
