Why is my excess solar not exporting?

• Ask your installer what export limit has been permitted on the inverter. If an export limit is set then your export will be capped.
• Is the inverter already working at maximum output i.e. 6kw inverter. Solar = 7kw, Load = 6kw, Battery SOC 100%, Grid =0w.
• Is the excess solar being used to charge the battery? The systems priority in self-consumption mode is solar priorities the load, excess goes to the battery if possible, any further excess solar will be exported to the grid within the inverters remaining output.

The reason the system is not exporting is because the maximum output of the inverter is 6kw and that is being supplied to the load meaning the 1kw excess is then discarded.
