How to complete a standard CT connection for a Dura-iG3 installation?

Standard CT installs can be done when the inverter is within 10 meters of the main supply (consumer unit).

If the distance exceeds 10 meters then the CT can be extended. Please see our FAQ on How to extend the CT connection for a Dura-iG3 inverter installation - here

Step 1

Unscrew the comms block at the bottom of the G3 inverter – this is where the CT is going to go.

Note: The CT clamp is included within the Dura-iG3 box

Step 2

Push each wire into a specific port in the 10-pin port (Black into 4, Red into 6, Yellow into 8, and Green into 10).

Step 3

Insert the 10-pin plug into the RS485 / Meter / CT port located on the underside of the Dura-i G3 – ensure the plug has been inserted correctly and that each core of the CT is not loose.
