How do I reconnect my DuraCharger to Wifi?
If your DuraCharger has disconnected from your Wifi, follow this step by step guide to connect your charger:
-
Restart the charger and stand within close proximity
-
On your phone/device:
-
Go into your wifi settings, disconnect and forget your home wifi network (be sure to make note of your home wifi password in case your phone does not store this.)
-
Connect to the charger’s wifi network (this will be your charger's serial number that starts with SNXXX and can be found on the side of your DuraCharger)
-
If you’re prompted to input a password, please type in admin123 (all lowercase)
-
-
Open your browser and in your url address bar, type in 192.168.4.1 and click enter. This will then open a log in page
-
When on the log in page:
-
Enter the 4 digit password (also found on the side of your DuraCharger) and click log in
-
-
On the charger homepage, check:
-
Server status is connected
-
Network status is online
-
-
If the server status is not “Connected”
-
Scroll down and go to network settings
-
At the bottom, find the address starting with WSS://ocpp16.
-
Change it to WS://ocpp16
-
Click confirm
-
-
Wait 15 minutes for the update to download.
-
Confirm there is only a green light on the EV charger
If Network status is Offline, follow the same steps above:
-
Scroll down and go to Network Settings
-
Check wifi name and password are inputted correctly then select Confirm
If you have changed your wifi to a completely new provider, make sure that it is 2.4ghz that you are connecting to, and check if they have any firewalls that could be blocking it.
