How do I change the size limitation of a homeowner's Dura-i G3 inverter?

This can only be done during the commissioning of a G3 inverter.

Log in to your Installer account on the Dura-i app and proceed to commission the product. Towards the end of the quick set-up for each G3 inverter (after the inverter ‘On’ button and before the ‘Finish’ button), there is a section called ‘size selection’ which states the current model name and size with 3 options: 3.6k, 4.6k and 5k.

Select the size which aligns best with the individual's DNO allowance for grid export and click ‘OK’. This process usually takes between 3-5 minutes.

Once complete, hit the ‘Finish’ button to finalise your commission.

Provided in the inverter box will be separate side stickers for the inverter. You MUST change the sticker to reflect the new size.

Please note that this change can only be made once, and the final sizing MUST reflect the current design of the electrical installation with electrical safety and MCS guidance in mind.
