App Error Messages

When reviewing the last updated time in the app you might be displayed with an error. Depending on the error you maybe able to resolve this, be required to contact your installer or contact our support team.

Below are the errors you maybe displayed with. 

Invalid Serial Number: Check the serial number of the registered Inverter or EV Charger via the Account Information tab. You can locate the product serial number on the actual product. If you are unable to locate this speak with your installer.

No Readings Available/Error: Your inverter may have gone offline. To Reconnect the system back to your home wifi please see steps below:

If your Duracell Energy Inverter goes offline, don’t worry—it can easily be reconnected using the Dura-i app. Follow the step-by-step guide below to get your system back online:

 

  1. Download the Dura-i App

    Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and download the Dura-i app to your smartphone or tablet.

     

  2. Open the App and Select Local Connection

    Once installed, launch the app. On the login screen, tap the “Local Connection” button.

     

  3. Press “Continue Local Connection”

    This begins the process of establishing a local connection with your inverter.

     

  4. Scan the Inverter’s Barcode

    Use your device's camera to scan the barcode located on your inverter.

    Note: If you're unable to see or scan the barcode, continue to the next step.

     

  5. Use Manual Connection (if needed)

    Tap “Manual Connection” to proceed without scanning. This will allow the app to connect to the inverter manually.

     

  6. You will need to enter the password set up by your installer. If you have forgotten this press the bluetooth sign on the top left of the pop up three times. This will allow you to reset your password.

     

  7. Connect to Your Inverter

    The app will now establish a local connection with your Duracell Energy inverter.

     

  8. Access Quick Set Up

    Navigate to the “Quick Set Up” option, located in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

     

  9. Enter Wi-Fi Credentials

    In the provided fields, enter your Wi-Fi SSID (network name) and password.

     

  10. Start the Configuration Process

    Tap “Start Configuration”. The system will begin a countdown as it attempts to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

     

  11. You're All Set!

    Once the countdown finishes, your inverter should now be successfully reconnected to your Wi-Fi network.

If you have gone through the steps above and the light on the dongle is still flashing orange/purple, this means it has not reestablished connection straight away with the inverter and will need resetting.

Depending on which type of dongle connects to your inverter, it will either be screwed in with 2 screws or just clipped in. Once you have disconnected the dongle and waited a few seconds, plug it back in and wait for the dongle light to turn green. This way you will know if it reconnected to the server.
